The Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania consists of 2,400 square miles of wooded peaks and valleys. For motorcyclists, the Poconos has some of the best “4-digit” riding roads you can imagine! The best of the best! Long famous as a vacation, resort, and camping center, the dense woods, dramatic waterfalls, splendid vistas, and clear mountain lakes of the Catskill Mountains continue to attract visitors, sportsmen, and vacationers. Maryland. Then we’ll wander the back roads on our way past Harrisburg and up Blue Mountain and eventually into the foot of the Pocono’s to our overnight accommodations. On the second day we’ll head for the Catskill Mountains of New York for a visit to the site of the famous 1969 Music and Arts Festival, forever remembered as “Woodstock”. Then we’ll enjoy scenic route 97 along the Delaware River where we’ll stop for a Kodak moment along this great highway. Before heading back to our hotel to relax, we’ll stop at the famous Roebling bridge for a look back in time. On day number three, you’ll enjoy more of the 4-digit roads of the Poconos. We’ll |

Then we’ll complete our tour of the area by visiting the Camelback Ski area high atop the Poconos located in Tannersville. Of course, a few days is barely enough to get even a small taste of the area as big and vast as the Poconos and the Catskills Mountains. But we’ll do our best to introduce you to motorcycling in the great land of green mountains. |
