Monterey Maple Fest Ride

Syrup season is upon us and that means it’s time for the Maple Festival. Ron Perlik will be leading his annual trek to Monterey, VA for steaming hot buckwheat pancakes (regular also available) and fresh, local maple syrup. After dining there is the option of a sugar bush tour before returning home.
The ride will depart from the Denny’s restaurant on Saturday, 3/20 at 8:30 am. The restaurant is located at 7323 Comfort Inn Drive next to the Toyota dealer, just north of Warrenton. In case of bad weather, the ride will take place on Sunday, 3/21.
Our route will include 211, I-81, 33 into West Virginia and 220 south into Monterey. The return trip will follow 250 and 42 towards Harrisonburg. The round trip from Warrenton is about 280 miles.

Please note that the Monterey Maple Festival ride has been postponed to Saturday, 3/20 with a rain date of Sunday, 3/21. All other details remain the same.
